This is my Jellyfish lamp review. I actually own this and I use it every day.
I’m easily amused. When I saw this jellyfish lamp listed on Amazon, I was instantly curious. I have several lava lamps that I’ve aquired over the years from yard sales, garage sales, and online selling sites. This was different though. When I saw this lamp, I knew I had to have it. Great Gift for Ocean Lovers
I love the ocean. I enjoy being near it, listening to the roaring surf, feeling the seabreeze. I like all of that, but when I’m at the beach, I generally do NOT want to see jellyfish up close and personal. They’re pretty gross when they are washed up on the sand, and I’m sure anyone who has been stung by one has their own story to tell about these graceful but dangerous little invertebrates.
So the jellyfish light came in the mail and I had to set it up instantly to see what it looked like in person. The set up took less than five minutes. I put in batteries, but it will also work if you plug it into a usb. The remote does take AAA batteries.
Dancing Jellyfish
When the jellyfish started moving and grooving to the changing lights, I knew that I was going to be happy with my purchase. They are still dancing about happily in my little desk “aquarium” and I get a real kick out of watching them when I need a break. I know it might seem silly, but I would absolutely give these as a gift to someone who likes aquariums, the ocean, or just chilling out from time to time. This item gets a thumbs up from me and I do recommend getting one for yourself or a friend.
This lamp features 16 different light settings, a remote control, and the ability to run it off of AA batteries (AAA in remote) or off of a USB connection. I like to keep it on my desk, but I think it would make a great night light anyone who likes to be able to see where they are going when they wake up at night.
For those who are looking for a sensory type item for themselves or a loved one, this is worth checking out. I have found myself sitting and staring at the dancing jellies with the room lights turned down a lot since I’ve placed it on my desk. I’m actually thinking about getting another one so that I can have one at home and one at work. I hope you have enjoyed this jellyfish lamp review.
