This is my updated UBeesize 67″ Tripod Review. Spoiler, it works with regular cameras and iPhones and I LIKE that! That is a big bonus for me. So, a long time ago, I was very into photography and video. I took many, many classes and I used to go out shooting slide film and 35 mm color film all of the time. Back then, getting film processed and printed could be quite expensive. Because of that, you had to edit yourself before you ever pressed the shutter unless you had somebody else paying for your film to get developed. If you shot photos like people do today, it would cost a small fortune every time you got it developed. Plus one for technology and photography!
To make a very long story short I did a lot of freelance work in photography and video for a while, but then I reached a point where I needed an income my family could rely on from week-to-week. I went into another field and photography went to the background of my life.
Video Review of UBeesize 67″ Camera Tripod
Photography and Video as a Hobby
This summer I found myself with a little bit more time than I have had previously. I would start exploring the world of Photography, blogging, and video again of course a lot of things have changed since the classes I took back in the 1980s and 1990s. One thing that is nice is the move to digital photography. Memory cards are dirt cheap compared to developing costs that I used to pay. Also, new editing software has made it super easy to adjust images before you ever even think about printing them. Even working with video is much easier than it used to be . Now you can sit down at your computer to splice and dice and reorganize video files in the blink of an eye.
One thing that has not changed though is the need for a tripod. If you want to have a rock steady camera be it a DSLR , a video camera, or even a cellphone, a tripod is the way to go. By the way, the whole cell phone camera experience still blows me away. you can take incredible images with the same device and call people on it. To an older person like me, that’s just crazy cool.
Anyway, I was looking for a tripod that I could use with my iPhone recently. I found the UBeesize 67″ model and bought it. It was in the right price range for me, and it promised to hold my cell phone still if I ever wanted to be in a shot without using the “selfie” grip on my phone.
I’ve been playing around with this Tripod and I really like it. I love the way you can mount and dismount a larger camera in just a couple of seconds (see the video). If you are looking for a decently priced tripod that will work with most of the photography and video equipment the average person might own, this is a winner. I highly recommend giving it a try. If you would like to check it out for yourself, you can follow this link to Amazon to see it for yourself. If you compare it with other tripods, I think you’ll see why I liked the price and the features. If you do own or decide to purchase this tripod, please come back and share your reactions.

I also wanted to mention that I’ve also grown up as sort of a Nikon fanboy. Nothing against any other brand, it is just what I always had around since I was a youngster working for a photographer who showed me the ropes using Nikons. Anyway, if you are looking for a good beginner to intermediate level DSLR, you might want to give this a look. It is a nice kit that gives you room to grow without making a professional level investment in your equipment.
